KEEP YOUR SHOES ON WHEN ENTERING A HOUSE.
Wipe your shoes before entering the house on the mat provided and follow what your host does.
การไปบ้านผู้อื่นต้องสวมรองเท้าเข้าบ้าน ก่อนเข้าต้องเช็ดรองเท้าก่อนโดย เดินตามทางที่เข้าเตรียมไว้ ซึ่งอาจเป็นเสื่อ หรือพรมก็ได้ แล้วทำทุกอย่างตามที่เจ้าของบ้านปฏิบัติ

TIP IN RESTAURANTS.
Service is not usually included in the restaurant bill, so a tip of about 10%-15% of the total bill is usually expected. This does not apply to fast food restaurants like McDonalds.
ให้ทิปเมื่อเข้าร้านอาหาร การบริการไม่มีการคิดรวมในใบเสร็จ ดังนั้นค่าทิปจะคิด10-15% จากจำนวนเงินในใบเสร็จ วิธีนี้ ไม่รวมถึงร้านอาหาร fast food เช่น McDonalds

TREAT PETS LIKE A MEMBER OF THE FAMILY.
The English are animal lovers . In some households, pets are allowed to sleep in their owner’s beds! In most households, pets stay in the house and are taken for walks everyday.
สัตว์เลี้ยงจะได้รับการดูแลเหมือนสมาชิกหนึ่งของครอบครัว ชาวอังกฤษเป็นคนรักสัตว์ บางบ้านจะให้สัตว์เลี้ยงนอนด้วย บางบ้านก็เีีพียงเลี้ยงไว้ในบ้าน แล้วจะพาออกเดินเล่นทุกวัน

EXPECT TO SEE WOMEN SMOKING AND DRINKING.
It is much more acceptable in England than In Thailand for women to smoke and drink. In fact, drinking alcohol is a major part of English culture and in many households a bottle of wine is drunk with every evening meal. Men and women smoke in equal amounts.
ผู้หญิงสูบบุหรี่ และดื่มของมึนเมา เป็นที่ยอมรับได้ในสังคมชาวอังกฤษ มากกว่าในประเทศไทย ที่จริง แล้ว การดื่มแอลกอฮอร์ นับ ว่า เป็น วัฒนธรรมหลักอย่างหนึ่ง ในสังคมชาวอังกฤษ ซึ่งจำนวนไม่น้อย ที่มักดื่มไวน์ ควบคู่กับอาหารเย็น

DON’T สิ่งที่ไม่ควรทำ
WAI TO PEOPLE.
They will not know what you are doing.
ไหว้ เพราะเขาเหล่านั้นไม่รู้ว่าเราทำอะไร แต่ปัจจุบันส่วนใหญ่จะรู้นะ(ไม่แน่)

STARE AT PEOPLE.
Especially on trains and buses. English people are very reserved and are naturally cynical and suspicious.
จ้องมอง โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งบนรถไฟหรือรถโดยสาร ชาวอังกฤษจะรู้สึกไม่ชอบมาก(ถือมาก) เพราุะเขาจะรู้สึกว่า กำลังถูกค้นหาพิรุธ ละมั้ง ถ้าทำเช่นนั้น จะได้รับการดูถูก ถือว่าไม่สุภาพอย่างแรง

ASK DIRECT QUESTIONS.
For example “ Where are you going?” English people will think you are rude and may take offense.
ถามด้วยคำถามตรงๆ เช่น "ไปไหนมา" เป็นการกระทำไม่สุภาพ จะทำให้ผู้ถูกถามไม่พอใจอย่างยิ่ง

MAKE COMMENTS ON PHYSICAL APPEARANCE.
It is considered very impolite to call someone fat.
เป็นการไม่สมควรอย่างยิ่งในการบอกผู้นั้นว่าอ้วน ถือว่าไม่สุภาพ

ASK A WOMEN HER AGE.
An older women will be very offended if you ask her age.
ถามอายุ อย่าถามอายุผู้หญิงที่สูงวัยกว่าเด็ดขาด ห้าม!

TOUCH PEOPLE WHO YOU DON’T KNOW WELL.
English people are reserved and are only intimate with each other once they know one another well, therefore they will not like a stranger to touch them because it invades their personal space.
แตะต้องบุคคลที่ยังไม่คุ้นเคยกันดี ชาวอังกฤษจะระวังตัวมาก ไม่ให้ความใกล้ชิด กับบุคคลที่ยังไม่คุ้นเคย ดังนั้นจึงไม่ชอบคนที่ยังไม่คุ้นเคย แตะต้อง เพราะถือว่าเป็นการ ล่วงเกินสิทธิส่วนตัว

BARGAIN IN SHOPS.
Assume that there are fixed prices everywhere.
ต่อรองราคา ให้นึกเสมอว่าราคาสินค้านั้นแน่นอนไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงทุกชิ้น

SMOKE ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
If you smoke, be aware of No Smoking signs and obey them. Failure to do so will result in very large fines.
สูบบุหรื่เมื่อใช้บริการโดยสารสาธารณะ ถ้าต้องการสูบบุหรี่ต้องแน่ใจว่า ไม่มีเครื่องหมาย "No Smoking" เพราะไม่เช่นนั้นจะุถูกปรับ

BE SURPRISED.
A lot of younger couples will be physically affectionate in public. Children have a lot more independence from a younger age than they do in Thailand.
คู่รักวัยรุ่นส่วนใหญ่สามารถแสดงความรักในที่สาธารณะได้ เด็ก ๆ ชาวอังกฤษมีอิสระ ในการแสดงความรัก ได้มาก กว่า เด็กไทย

EXPECT WOMEN TO BE SUBSERVIENT.
Many men share the responsibility of household chores, and women hold similar positions in the job market to men. However, don’t expect to see women on a building site- this is one job that still remains male dominated.
